Women, War & Peace, a THIRTEEN series airing early next year, will utterly reshape our understanding of modern warfare.
This series will reveal how today’s wars are rarely fought between uniformed armies representing a country or cause but by informal entities, often led by gangs and warlords bent on personal enrichment. Their warfare is total. Their method is terror. Their tools of choice are rape and dismemberment. And their victims overwhelmingly are civilians — most often women and children.
Women, War & Peace will tell the inspiring true stories of women who have fought back — nonviolently and with passion, brilliance, and unwavering strength — to forge a path to justice and peace.
This site is your place to learn more about these women. Please get involved to help put their stories on the air.
